A conference on the main currents of epistemology


Call for Papers

Dominican University College is pleased to announce the call for papers for its upcoming bilingual conference Epistemology and its History to take place on October 19-21, 2017. The conference will gather both established and junior scholars from Canada and around the world to provide contributions to the field of epistemology. Both papers related to the history or contemporary issues of epistemology are welcome.

In addition to opening discussion on themes related to epistemology, the conference will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the granting of Dominican University College’s Ontario University Charter. 

Please send a working title and an abstract of 500 words max, prepared for blind peer-review no later than July 15, 2017 to either Professor Iva Apostolova at Iva.Apostolova@dominicanu.ca or Professor Jean-François Méthot at JF.Methot@dominicanu.ca. Approval of participation will be announced by August 31, 2017. A tentative program with the list of invited speakers and plenary sessions will be announced shortly. Doctoral students, particularly those in their last year of studies, are encouraged to submit paper proposals. Presenters will be allotted forty minutes, half an hour presentation time and ten minutes for questions and comments.
