Call for papers - 21st Annual Dominican University College Student Conference

The 21st annual Dominican University College Student Conference will be held on March 26-27, 2021. We invite undergraduate and graduate students in philosophy and in theology to submit abstracts for review by March 15. The theme this year - on ethics and the good life - encourages students to offer papers that forward, corroborate, or critique a particular conception of what it is to live well, come what may. A keynote speaker is Dr. Brian A. Butcher, Research Fellow at the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies at the University of St. Michael's College, the University of Toronto.

The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for the presentation of work in both philosophy and in theology, in order to establish a multi-disciplinary dialogue. As such, we also welcome papers from related disciplines.

The conference is organised by AECDO, the student association of Dominican University College, with the support of the faculty and administration. Due to our concern for public health, this conference will be held primarily online. If you would like to attend, but not present, please email us at
