Student Accommodations

There are a number of options for student accommodations at DUC. To help you decide which option is best suited for you,  you can contact us by email at welcome@dominicanu.ca for more information. Here a a few options: 

On Campus

Male students studying at DUC can choose to live on campus at the Dominican Priory. The monthly accommodation fee of $1,000 (2018-2019 rates) entitles students to:

  • Individual living quarters
  • Shared bathroom/living room
  • Three meals (buffet style) per day
  • Access to the common rooms
  • Access to the library 
  • Free Internet (wifi)
  • Access to the swimming pool

Off-Campus

There are  many options for accommodations off-campus in rental apartments or houses in the area. The following are helpful resources when searching for apartments or roommates:

 

Canada Homestay Network

DUC is partnered with the Canada Homestay Network. The Canada Homestay Network is a non-profit society that pairs international students with families in the Ottawa community. Female Students

Female students who would like to live in a faith-based community are invited to contact us directly at welcome@dominicanu.ca for more information. 

Carleton University residence rooms are also available for female students upon request. Please send us an email at welcome@dominicanu.ca for more information.
