Sin, Grace and Moral Life | Dominican University College

This course offers a reflection on the theological notions of sin and grace in relation to the development of the moral life. The lectures cover the following themes: a genealogical study of the notions of sin and grace in the biblical sources (OT and NT), an analysis of some theological conceptualizations on sin and grace in the Tradition in relation with the moral life of Christians (Fathers of the Church, Thomas Aquinas, Luther, Council of Trent), a theological reflection on the economy of sin and grace, and on the stakes raised by these topics in the life of the Christian individuals and communities today.
