Social and Political Commitment | Dominican University College

This course offers a reflection on the social and political commitment of Christians. Some themes that will be studied include: 1) the imperatives of social justice in today’s world, 2) the situations and callings of the Churches, 3) the social teaching within the Catholic Church, 4) the practice of justice on a day-to-day basis and 5) important contemporary theological schools including “Political Theology” and “Liberation Theology”.
